There are definitely others around the country that are better but if you have kids, this is a good way to spend a few hours. On the whole, as a children's museum goes, this does the trick. If there is an event going on somewhere in town (for us, there was a Lookouts baseball game), be ready to walk if you aren't there within the first hour or so of the opening time. There are also microscopes to look at microscopic portions of plants and animals as well as tanks for bigger live animals like lizards and cockroaches.
